My Favorite Christmas Albums

If you’re a lover and collector of music, this blogmas post is for you. I’m sharing My Favorite Christmas Albums of all time!

I’m that person who has the Christmas radio station preset on their dash. Then Christmas leaves and I never know why I’ve got that channel programmed… until Thanksgiving day. When I’m showered in Holiday cheer from it.

This is a list of albums that will warm any grinch and make their heart double in size.

My Favorite Christmas Albums

Okay before we get started I would like to start this by saying that the first album on this list is my favorite one. It’s also my family’s favorite and my parent’s favorite story to tell.

Apparently, when we were moving cross country, it was the middle of July, and my brother and I only wanted to listen to this specific Christmas cassette. Allllll the way from New York to Washington State! My parents told us the minute they tried to change it, my brother and I would scream and scream until they put it back on.

So, without any further ado…

The Christmas Album List:

  1. Once Upon a Christmas – Dolly Parton & Kenny Roger’s Christmas Album 1984
  2. Ella Wishes You a Swinging Christmas – Ella Fitzgerald 1960
  3. Merry Christmas – Mariah Carey 1994

What a fun list. I like retro albums at Christmas too. I was introduced to Sharon Jones & the Dap-King’s “It’s a Holiday Soul Party” album on Twitter (of all places) and it’s a keeper.

      Merry Christmas!
