Thrifted Diaries: Winter 2026
I’m so excited to start this seasonal series on the blog. It feels like a little throwback to my fashion blogger days in the 2010s, which makes me oddly nostalgic, but I’m excited to jump back in since this time it’s all about thrifting. The goal with this series is to break each post into two parts: what I’m searching for and what I’ve found.
Thrifted Diaries: Winter 2026
I’ve noticed that I genuinely get so excited to pack up all of my winter and fall clothing to swap it out for spring and summer. I never, ever, ever feel the same way when winter rolls around. So this year, I’m changing that.
How am I doing it? By doing something that sounds a little unhinged… I’m getting rid of almost all of my ultra-dark clothing.
I know it sounds insane, but what I dislike most about winter is how dark and dreary everything feels. If I can’t control the weather, I can at least control my closet. So that’s exactly what I’m going to do.
What I’m Searching for

I made an entire Winter Thrift Board of what I’m hoping to find while I’m looking this season. Here’s my list!
- White button-downs with lovely wide or puff sleeves
- Thick, cropped cardigan sweaters in warm tones
- Lovely light colored skirts that will carry all season, preferably with some texture
- High-waisted and straight-legged jeans
- Warm dresses in brown, light green, burnt orange, and dark pink
- Brown high-waisted pants in bell-bottoms and straight
- Turtle neck cropped sweater vests
- Embroidered everything
- Dainty gold jewelry pieces 💕
What I’ve Found

- 100% cotton 90s thick red turtle neck
- Vintage knitted blue stripe sweater
- Oversized caramel turtle neck sweater
- Cinched bottom caramel turtle neck sweater
- Pink cashmere pearl sweater – I’m gonna change the buttons, but it’s so soft, and I couldn’t leave it. It was $5 without a tag, but I know it’s cashmere.
- Daisies black midi skirt
- Extra-long, wide-legged, comfy pants – I have to hem these, or I’ll fall on my face
- Light blue crop sweater
Some of the finds I shared are still floating around online or in local shops. If you want to peek at similar treasures, I’ve linked a few favorites on ThredUp.
I would love to know what you’re searching for this winter and how you’re refreshing your wardrobe. Or if you’re doing a no-buy year for 2026, I want to hear about that too.
Hoping your coffee tastes wonderful and your next thrifting adventure is your best yet.
