Reading: Morbidly Yours by Ivy Fairbanks
Our book club pick this month is a witty, sarcastically upbeat Irish spicy romance, and I donāt think any of us knew what we were in for until I saw the Irish translations for some of the phrases being used. š„µ Stand by to see if it makes it onto my “book recs” tags!
Watching: The Great British Baking Show
This week they had their first-ever meringue week, and it did not disappoint. I loved how they made a running joke out of how stingy Paul Hollywood has been with handshakes this season – fair enough, he should be! I also think Noel and Alison might be my favorite hosting duo yet.

Itās not for me, guys. So, Iām determined to just⦠not get it. That said, what has been cooked is incredible, and my little home smells like the hopes and dreams of a magical cooking fairy. āØ
Wearing: Cardigans and Sweater Vests
Oh friends, what a joy autumn is. Itās not freezing yet, but just chilly enough to need an extra layer midday. For me? Cardigans and sweater vests are the answer. Here are a few similar to the ones Iāve recently picked up on thredUP! š
- Button up 100% cotton navy cardigan
- Button up v-neck cotton/wool blend seaform green cardigan
- Ivory cotton/wool blend sweater vest
- Honestly? All sweater vests
Dreaming of: Building Something For Myself
I know I have this blog, and itās an outlet I truly love, but Iām craving something more. Iām not sure whatās next for me, but I hope to iron out the details soon – maybe with the help of a coach or counselor. š« Wish me luck!
Thanks for reading today, friends. Hope you have an amazing week!
