My Favorite Movie and Binge-Watching Snacks

I have been on such a food kick lately. It’s not all I can think about but, it sure seems like it. Which is why the other night, while debating on buying a movie ticket to the new Jurrasic World movie, I thought about this post and My Favorite Movie and Binge-Watching Snacks.

Pre-pandemic, I was the girl who always snuck in her snacks. Growing up, in a family of 6, going to the movies was expensive. Maybe we grew up frugal or because my mom always fed us before we went to the theater. Either way, I’ve literally never gotten anything more than popped corn at a cinema. NEVER.

No hot dogs, nachos, chocolate… nothing.

My Favorite Movie and Binge-Watching Snacks

Post-pandemic me, and new-budget me, have only seen one movie since the re-opening of the world. A movie theater close by has a $6-movie-Tuesdays. Can you believe that? $6 bucks. All Day!

So, I went to the store. Got my candy and went to see the most recent Wizarding World film.

Hm…this very quickly turned into a savings hack post…. Anyway! Here’s what I love to snack on at the theater and at-home!

Frozen Junior Mints

Yes, specifically frozen. I keep boxes of them in my freezer to grab before going to a movie. I will also plan ahead to freeze before a big series comes out I know I’ll want to binge. They may have only lasted episodes 1 & 2 of Bridgerton but they went beautifully.

Trader Joe’s Herbs Seasoned Popped Corn

It’s completely ridiculous to spend $2.49 on bagged popped corn. Yet, I’ve never regretted it. In fact, it’s one of my favorite snacks to keep in my apartment. I get so excited to pour a bowl for movie night.

Candy Corn

Specifically during October and I’m preparing to watch Hocus Pocus or The Addams Family. It puts me in the spirit immediately.

Veggies & Hummus

This is my go-to binge-watching starter snack. Haha! That’s right, it’s like the appetizer that justifies my junk food after. I love carrots, celery sticks, and red peppers.

Brownie Bites Topped with Peanut Butter

I feel like I should be more embarrassed by this confession but I’m not. I LOVE boxed brownies. Especially the Duncan Hines Chewy Fudge. UGH, so goooood. I like them slightly undercooked with a light swirl of crunchy peanut butter on top.

Theo’s Sea Salt 70% Dark Chocolate Bar

When all else fails, there’s always room for one square of Theo’s sea salt dark chocolate!

Twizzlers

Omg, please don’t fight me on this again. I have quite a few friends reach out saying they were team Red Vines. You know who you are! I accept our differences… but you’re wrong. Twizzlers are far superior. 😅

This was a fun post you write, you guys!

Thank you so much for reading, supporting me, and being my digital friends. Please share your favorite movie snacks! I’d love to hear them.
