Happy Blogmas 2024: What I’m Sharing This Holiday Season
Hello, darling friends!
I’m not going to lie, I’m excited to jump back into blogging. There are so many posts I didn’t get to write while working at my new job and, still, moving in. At this rate, I don’t know if I’ll ever be fully moved into my new place. That said, I love my new place. I’m so happy here. I feel genuine peace, quiet, and privacy. It’s been an adjustment due to how much driving I have to do (not exactly walkable) but I’m near a thrift store and a great grocery store, and I joined a gym!
My parents are also 15 minutes down the highway which is perfect for the Holidays. Speaking of, I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving. We’re celebrating on Sunday since my brother and his family can’t come over til Saturday. It’s nice since we have a few days to ourselves and not just run to cook a huge meal after working the day before.
Anyway, if I’m honest, I don’t have a plan for blogmas yet. Last year was full of every Christmas Market I went to while traveling through Brussels, Bruge, Cologne, Munich, and Vienna. It was an absolute blast. It was a trip of a lifetime and I dream of going back someday.
For Blogmas this year, I will not be going anywhere fancy. This year I plan to decorate my Christmas tree and for the first time, I will be decorating a cute little townhouse. I’m so excited and grateful for my lifestyle this year. I worked really hard for this life. I’m proud of myself, especially every morning while I go through my blessings.
I will be heading to Spokane for Christmas itself. Last year, despite going to a million Christmas Markets, we had a family COVID outbreak so we never truly had Christmas. This year will be so much fun because we have my nephew to celebrate with. I can’t wait to watch him open gifts this year. I also hope to go ice skating again!
So, for those who need something short and sweet, here’s a quick list of what I’ll be sharing:
- Christmas Tree decorations & new travel ornaments from 2024!
- Townhouse decorations
- Cookie Swap party ideas and review!
- My favorite holiday cookie recipes
- What I’m thankful for this year
- A few gift guides (especially for travelers)
- Ice skating fun
- The Nutcracker write-up + urban craft fair (the ultimate friend day!)
- Cookie decorating with my family
- Holiday 2024 family ornament!
- Best Holiday thrifted outfits
- Holiday thrift store finds
That’s it for today, your guess is as good as mine for what I plan to post tomorrow. Haha! Just know, I’ll see you then.
Extra love and admiration for this of you having a tough holiday.
