My Winter Bucket List This Year
Happy winter solstice, my darlings! This is the day for manifesting everything you’re looking forward to in the new year and it’s also a great time to share My Winter Bucket List!
Since it’s a combo of post-Christmas, the new year, and the coldest months, it’s easy for me to admit that Winter is my least favorite season. As a new start, one of my biggest goals is to continue the motto that I started in June. This is “find happiness in common everyday things“.
Winter is repetitive in the PNW. It’s frigid and rainy. It’s hard to leave my apartment to go on a walk, and it’s even harder to start a new morning exercise routine indoors because my bed is so warm!
My Winter Bucket List
For this season, I’ve got some small goals that I will turn into big ones in the future. A lot of my winter bucket list is practice for bigger projects. You’ll see! Let’s get into it. 😊
- Knit a beginner-level sweater – no matter how long it takes, and don’t give up!
- Take an REI class or join one of their events
- Run a 5k
- Take down my Christmas tree by January 6th
- Buy new herbal tea leaves for a soothing nighttime routine
- Have an entire day blocked off for self-care
- Plan my winter travel
- Make english muffins from scratch
- Try a new winter drink
- Use body lotion after every shower to prevent dry skin – mine gets so bad this time of year
- Take a skiing 101 class with my soon-to-be brother-in-law
- Find and take a course on finances
- Use my new personal planner to keep track of my daily habits
- Aim for 65,000 meters of rowing each month – roughly 40 miles
- 2 days of weight training – really helps my seasonal depression
- Plan out all of my winter blog posts in my blogger planner
- Go through clothing and start donating unworn items
- Start a bi-weekly brunch date with my favorites
What’s on your winter bucket list this year??
