Books I Love to ReRead

Hello, my darling friends! This post is about the Books I Love to ReRead because I noticed I don’t just love picking up new books but also love keeping the books I reread. My personal library is small because I generally don’t buy new books. All my books are from the library or our neighborhood’s free little library. I enjoy reading just as much as the next person! However, I don’t like clutter and I genuinely love returning books to the library.

When I do love a book, I buy it from an independent bookstore to keep and reread.

I’d love to know if anyone else does this. Lately, I’ve seen a lot of people with huge personal libraries, which is amazing! It’s just a bit impractical for my lifestyle.

Anyway, let’s get on to my list!

Books I Love to ReRead

Garden Spells by Sara Addison Allen

This is one of my favorite books ever. It’s darling and makes me happy whenever I get the chance to revisit it. Claire lives in her ancestral home and has a touch of magic all around her and in everything she makes in the kitchen. It’s something that’s inherited through the Waverley women. I adore watching Clare come out of her shell, her Aunt, and that her sister, Sydney, gets a second chance at finding true love.

I find myself missing this family and the small town. As if they’re my long-lost friends.

The Perfect Hope by Nora Roberts

Honestly, this whole series is great. It’s one of the first trilogies I’ve read by Nora Roberts. This trilogy is partly responsible for getting me into romance novels! For some reason, Ryder and Hope were my favorites among the three couples. I fell in love with the small town, all the kids, and the Boonsboro Inn, that the Montgomery brothers refurbished.

Hook, Line, & Sinker by Tessa Bailey

I have actual tabs in this book for sections I love to reread. I enjoyed Fox & Hannah’s story so much that I bought the book after borrowing it from the library. Not a lot of people agree with me on this but I find their story better than Brandon & Piper’s. I will reread It Happened One Summer next year, just to tab it like I did this one.

Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë

In the Proposal, Sandra Bullock’s character admits that her favorite book is Wuthering Heights and she reads it every Christmas. A beautiful idea. Though I don’t read it every Christmas, I read it for the first time in college. I had a hard time with the old English until going through it in class. Then I reread it a few years later and fell in love with it. There’s something so emo about Heathcliff and though I think he’s an idiot… every time… I’m still going to reread it again.

The Christmas Wedding Guest by Susan Mallory

Speaking of Christmas rereads…Wishing Tree is a darling little small town in Washington State (my home!) and during Christmas, it’s a big deal! I loved the two sisters and how Dena gets pregnant on her own accord. She’s always wanted to be a mother but hadn’t found anyone to share her life with. So, she’s decided to do it herself surrounded by community & friends. It’s all about the spirit of Christmas and hope, even when you think you’re done with love. I can’t wait to reread it in December.

Le Petit Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

I own this in french and english. Every time I’m cleaning out my closet, I find it and the next thing I know, I’m reading it. It’s adventurous and charming, and it’s short! I love rereading this one.

I would love to know what your favorite books are! Which ones do you like to reread?

Thanks for reading! 💕
