Snowed In Sweater

Free People Bralette

Good afternoon, my lovely friends! Since we’re snowed in, I’m definitely not wearing cute dresses and impractical booties. When I’m venturing out, I’m in my Hunter boots and puffy winter coat. Thermals are essential. It’s cold, rest assured, but nothing that we can’t manage. As Seattleites, we’re more concerned about the snow draining safely into the Sound and making sure our local businesses don’t suffer than the roads. The city is still walkable. I’m actually meeting my friend, S, at a local cafe in a few minutes.

Since I’m speaking practically, I thought I’d share what I’m wearing around the house….Sweater for Cold Snow DaysTwisted Black SweaterFree People Red Bralette

Luckily for me, the building I live in is well kept. It’s nice and warm.

My chunky open back sweater is from a local boutique. It’s hidden amongst the quaint homes and secret staircases of Queen Anne. The whimsical/charming little shop is called Meadow, and it’s been in the community for the past 10 years. I can’t recommend popping in enough. This is the second sweater I’ve purchased from this store. The other one is my fluffy grey sweater. Both I absolutely love and wear all the time, especially at home.

I’m obsessed with bralettes. They’re unbelievably comfortable and add a little bit of sexiness to any over sized sweater. I wear them a lot at home because, again, their so comfortable and easy to throw on and feel a bit of support. This one is from Free People and I’ve been eyeing a few more to add to my wardrobe.

Are you in Seattle? What’s your favorite winter lounge wear?
