Ruched Black Dress & Fall Duster

Fall Duster Outfit

“Autumn: The season that teaches us that changes can be beautiful.”

Browns, burnt oranges, velvet! A few words to associate fall fashion this year. This duster has a little drama to it. It’s something that reminds me of being in a film or have magic powers, when I’m wearing it. Something that gives an extra “umph” to the outfit. It’s easy to wear and pairs easily. Even with jeans and a tank.Panama Hat close upVelvet Booties close upFall Duster outfit side profile Leather Suede Clutch

My very sweet sister has been kind enough to take my photos more recently. She moved into the city and now we’re only a 15 minute drive away! I love having family close by and I’m hoping it’ll also help me be more consistent in posting.

She was kind enough to give me the approval for this outfit. Haha! The outfit was put together based on the fact that it didn’t rain today, unlike yesterday. I think we got a weeks worth of rain in one sitting from that crazy storm! It’s also surprisingly warm enough to resist tights, which I am thankful for. You’ll know its gotten cold when I’m tights. It takes a lot to get me in them.

Now, let’s talk accessories! This Leith clutch is brand new and I’m so excited to debut it. This, and my Treasure & Bond hat, are from Nordstrom. I also wore this hat out in Whidbey Island. Check out my Book Review outfit here!

I’ll be hoping on a plane this week and heading out to Virginia. My cousin and I also get into just enough trouble. We have so much fun and I can’t wait to spend some quality time with her. Again, family is everything!
