It’s last Thursday night, I’m sitting cross legged on my bed staring aimlessly at my closet in complete disbelief that I don’t have a single thing to wear for my first date in 2 years – Tomorrow. The amount of panic and frustration I feel with myself is completely overwhelming because I’ve realized that I’ve let myself slip somehow. I’ve not got an item in my closet that’s sexy comfy. I’ve got classy gala, sunday bests, comfy cozy… I’ve got nothing but outfits for women and nothing what-so-ever to make a man look at me with a seductive eye.

Around 360 minutes is the amount of time I’ve spent researching, dissecting and archiving outfits specifically for Date Nights. If you follow me on pinterest, I’m sorry, you know I’ve been on a mission. Not only do I have a board but I’ve asked 4 of my girls friends and 1 guy friend their opinion on almost each outfit that was saved or pinned.

Exhaustion should be my number one feeling but intrigue has taken over. Different women have a completely unique outlook as to why something is sexy vs cute for date outfits. Men – well, they’re on a whole other level. Let’s be real here, I trust them but I mostly don’t. Haha.

I found a consistent love with black. Black dresses, shoes and bags. Gold is my metal of choice. IT’s a trend and I think it’s a classy sexy rule to go by. I think I can build a mini-date night unit in my closet out of these.

This afternoon, while hunting for outfits I bought the dress above. I will review and make sure to let you know how it goes. I told you I was on a mission!
