Things I Never Leave The House Without
Hello, my darling friends! This weekend I spent a good chunk of time on mini adventures with my parents and a friend. It got me thinking about all the Things I Never Leave The House Without, even on a day away from home.
I spend spent both mornings out. Saturday I got brunch with my parents at one of my favorite diners in Ballard. On Sunday Shanna and I met up for coffee and books at a coffee shop we’ve both been meaning to go to. It’s also on my list of Coffee Shops You Need To Visit in Queen Anne, which you should totally check out if you’re coming to Seattle.
Both days, I was gone for well over 8 hours. Here’s what I’m always bringing with me!
I spent the whole weekend with my parents and catching up on my reading. 💕 What’d you do??#weekendvibes #livingthedream #reading @LaurenEAccardo #sweetlove #croissant #cafehagen #seattle #americano #sunshine #SundayMorning #books #booktwt #amreading #breakfast pic.twitter.com/efj8OBM44o

Things I Never Leave The House Without
This is a general check list of items I keep in my handbag and/or my car! I’m adding my car to this list because it’s my primary form of transportation. Pre-pandemic it was the bus and my handbag carried a lot more shoes.
- It’s pretty rare you’ll see me traveling without my Madewell Women’s Medium Transport Tote.
- A reusable iced coffee cup, insulated tumbler or one of my MIIR mugs.
- One of many pairs of gold aviator sunglasses.
- My perscription glasses (especially while driving at night).
- Health supplies: mask, hand sanitizer, advil/asprin etc.
- An extra hair tie (or five).
- A book. Always, always always carry a book. (Check out my Books & Bottles Series for inspo!)
- Car first aid and emergency kit and a blanket.
- Personal basics: wallet, keys, phone, phone charger cord and/or portable phone charger, tampons/pads, condoms, driver’s license or passport (if I’m flying, I always bring my passport), cash/cards, etc.
- Lip stick (no joke, I always have one)
- Reusable foldable shopping bag.
- My airpod pros to listen to my audiobooks!
- Emergency snacks. The minute I’m hangry, I can’t make a decision on what to eat! I cannot leave the house without snacks. Favorites are Kind Bars and Honey Stingers!
- A pen. I always end up needing one and it lives in my handbag.
Is there anything I’m missing? What do you always grab before leaving the house. Hope you guys had a great weekend too!
