Friends! Please give a super warm welcome to my first ever guest blogger! I’m beyond excited to introduce you to Shanna, from Rainy Days and Clichés blog! She’s a devoted book blogging queen and she’s here to write about her recommends for her top 10 Amazing Books To Read This Summer.

As you all know, I’m an avid travel blogger but I also love to write about lifestyle too. A big part of my lifestyle this year has been getting more books off my shelf and into my hands. I got to Shanna for book advice at least once a week. Her book goal this year is 50. As mentioned previously… mine is a mere 12 but with this list, I’ve already tact on 3 to my “to read” tab.

10 Great Books to Read this Summer

Grab your sunglasses and sunblock everyone. The sun is out and summer has arrived. It’s time for days spent by the water, drinking iced coffee, and of course, summer reading. Whether you’re laying on the beach, laying by the pool, or laying on your couch, there’s nothing better than escaping into a book with fascinating characters and an intriguing plot. Make the most of your summer by indulging in some really great books!

Here are 10 great books to read this summer:

The Hunting Wives by May Cobb

This book is advertised as housewives behaving badly and I am here for it.

When a journalist comes to town to write a story about a fundraiser, he instead becomes determined to figure out the puzzle that is Piper’s invisible husband. This book is about grief and love and community.

Blush by Jamie Brenner

The Hollander family vineyard is in danger of being sold. When a trove of 1980s novels are discovered, three generations of Hollander women spend the summer reading and finding themselves in the female characters of these forgotten novels. Along the way, they discover that these “trashy” novels might hold the secrets to saving the family winery.

When Women Invented Television by Jennifer Keishin Armstrong

The Dating Plan by Sara Desai

Daisy needs a fake fiance to get her family off her back. Liam needs to get married in order to secure his inheritance. The two agree to a marriage of convenience but what happens when their fake relationship starts to become a little too real? This book has one of my favorite tropes – a fake relationship!!
