10 Things I am Grateful for Today
I was watching TikTok last night and there was something called a 10/10/10 Worksheet someone was filling out. The concept is to create 3 lists of 10 thoughts back to back. One of the lists is to write 10 Things I am Grateful for Today and I thought “this could be fun”! The idea is that the three lists will instantly put you in a better mood and help boost your positivity/production. I figured… why not give it a try!
This month has been really tough for me. If you haven’t noticed, from my lack of posting. 😩 The season has changed and, honest truth here: I am one of the many individuals in the Northern Pacific Northwest that suffers from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). It’s so easy for me to fall into a depressed state without Vitamin D, a lamp light (which I am investing in this year) and lack of exercise every single day.
The 3 Lists for the 10/10/10 Worksheet:
So I’m hoping this list will help me (and maybe you) put some perspective into why life isn’t all that bad. The 3 lists are:
1) 10 Most Exciting Desires You Want To Do
2) 10 Things You Are Most Grateful For
3) 10 Things You Love To Do
Normally I would be all about sharing these three lists with you but, recently I’ve decided to keep my goals to myself. It’s no offense, I swear! However, I don’t want to say a goal on here and not be able to finish it. It would be disheartening for myself.
My goals are personal and something I want to start manifesting in private. I think of goals as amazing little adventures. You guys know I LOVE sharing adventures, but… I rather share them when I’ve actually completed them. 😊
10 Things I am Grateful for Today
- My upcoming cabin trip next month. I’m grateful I can afford it and for the happiness it give me to think about it.
- The roof over my head and a bed to sleep in every night.
- The food in my pantry and fridge.
- A granola recipe I modify every season that Chef Amy gave to me when I worked at a restaurant in Virginia. (It’s the best recipe ever)
- My family and the friends I’ve chosen to be my family.
- The opportunity and privilege to vote in a state with mail-in/drop off ballots
- My overall health and my ability to stay healthy.
- A job that pays my bills and allows me to save.
- My new rowing machine that allows me to exercise indoors during the Fall/Winter months. (SO happy and thankful I could afford this)
- My therapist who I’ve been seeing for almost 3 years now. She has been such a light when my days are truly dark.
From you

I love this post and love this idea of making a list of things I am grateful for. It’s been a rough year but it’s good to take comfort in things that bring us joy. So many things on your list are relatable, including #s 5, 7, and 8.
