Female Solo Road Trip Essentials
With Covid still moving upward in the US and international boarders are close to Americans, it’s been an ongoing trend to see people pack up and hit the road this summer. I just returned from a solo trip down south to NorCal and back. If there is one thing I learned on this trip, it was exactly what every woman needs to make their adventure healthy, safe and fun. So, I created a list of Female Solo Road Trip Essentials for us.
My solo road trip was SO amazing. It was fun, full of adventure and, best of all, freedom. There is nothing better than waking up and realizing you have no obligations. You can do whatever you want alllllll day long!
Besides doing what I want, by ultimate goal was to stay as safe as possible. That means from the unknown and also from getting sick. Which is why I added a face mask to this list, as well as a whistle, mace and a door lock. These are all things I brought with me just as a precaution and in case of an emergency.
Obviously the book isn’t necessarily considered an essential, however, I downloaded it on audible and it kept me company for 7 hours while alone. Books can be your best friend and also inspire you to do some fun things alone. Like… find the closest PCT sector in the Shasta/Trinity National Forest! 😉
