Ohhh my darlings, let me tell you a story… but after I talk about my thrifted military jacket and lovely black ruched Anthropologie dress. This is a classic tale of one girl, a thrift store and a $20 limit. Only to discover that today, of all the days, is 1/2 off day. Oye! To my delight, this jacket was in amazing condition and has been worn so many times since picking it up. I’m smitten!

Friends, I might be the worst editor in the history of blogging. Here’s the deal, guys. I love editing… too much. So much that every photo I have has 3-5 versions that my gemini brain can’t decide on. Not only that but they all have to match. Which means all I’m doing is arguing with myself before I even start typing!

Do I want is post to be light and airy or a sweet autumn sunset?

I will say, however, this military jacket looks amazing in all of them. My booties also edit really well. Haha.

In short, I spend an annoying hour and a half trying to decide what I want from my posts every time, and you guys will never even see the other options. Which is a shame, really. They’re all a different story and I love that about blogging. It’s bitter sweet. It’s my favorite and most hated task.

Now, on to more exciting events, even though I want to complain about choosing an instagram image to represent said post. What was I saying? Right, happy things! I’ve got my trip this weekend! (Yes, I will be bringing my military jacket. Can you guess where I’m going?

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to explore this city and I’m so jazzed to be able to spend it with my best and oldest friend. We’re going to do all the things we wanted to do in High School that our parents wouldn’t let us. Have you guessed yet?! Don’t worry, I’ll have a few posts on it.
