Burnt Fall Crepe Dress with a Cardigan

Hello, again, my darling friends! I love this Fall crepe dress and actually wear it all year round. However, I will admit, I definitely wear it a LOT more this time of year. This dress was purchased last year (per my Nordstrom account, I bought it on 09/23/18. Haha!) and , man-o-man, I’ve got my money’s worth!

In my last post I mentioned that my sister normally takes my photos but as the daylight fades into the Seattle Fall schedule, it’s going to get tough to ask for her help. So, for this shoot, I actually asked my co-worker to just stand with my while I set up my tripod and take my own photos. … I can’t tell you how much easier it was to take photos with a friend!

It made me feel a lot more confident. I know if I keep practicing it’ll get better and easier and I want to be able to successfully shoot my own photos while I travel. Practice makes it easier, right?

You won’t be surprised that this super cozy cardigan is a thrift find. I bought it a few years ago and I can’t get rid of it! It’s literally my favorite Fall sweater cardi. I call it my “old man sweater” because it actually reminds me of a sweater cardigan my grand-daddy used to wear. Perhaps that’s why I love it so much and it compliments this Fall crepe dress so beautifully.
