New Job, New Home, New Life.

A lot of changes this month but I couldn’t be more excited about my transitions. I got a new job. Though I will miss my old company like crazy, as I’ve worked for a publishing company for the past 4 years, it was time to learn something now. 4 years is a lot of time to give to one company but the people at this corporation makes time fly. My biggest pain is leaving all of the friends that have graced my life over the course of my career.

After getting my new job, everything began to happen so quickly. Life fell into place. No crazy panic attacks or second guessing. I was looking to learn and grow, this position was presented to me. It’s a huge honor to go from a large women’s publishing network to a large fashion house. Dreams do come true!
Starting was very confusing since I didn’t take time off in between jobs. I had a Monday off and all of my friends were at work so it just felt like I was taking a personal day. Alas, no.

Keep in mind, this has all happened rather quickly. I got an offer, gave my notice, found a new apartment, got said apartment, started my first day, got my keys last weekend, have been moving and learning since.

What can I say? I like change.

I think change is healthy and empowering. It helps you get out of the day to day life and into the present. Nothing like throwing a total wrench in the mist of your entire life! For me, it effective.

After a mild panic attack attack on night, after I ate a bowl of pasta with a side of oxygen from a brown paper bag, I decided to take one day at a time. Then decided to celebrate!

One of my best friends and I are going to Disneyland! We both have had huge accomplishments this year and we decided we deserve a day of fun. I’ll load up on the details in another post and write about the adventure afterward. I haven’t been to this park since I was in high school!

To be able to afford this trip and to celebrate with a good friend makes me feel incredibly blessed. I try to be gracious and live in gratitude everyday but Saturday will be especially thankful. I plan to vast in the glory of life and be happy with out a thought of negativity.

As for the apartment, it’s coming along!! I bought all new furnishing for the bathroom and many, many, many plants for the kitchen and dining area. It will be a full greenhouse by June.

What are you feeling blessed for today?
