24 Days of Cozy: A Quick Little Recap
Happy Holidays, my darling friends! This year… well, my 24 Days of Cozy Challenge turned into more of a 13 Days of Cozy – but honestly? December itself was so much fuller, sweeter, and more wonderful(-er) than I expected. There was one big, life-shaking, heart-swelling thing that happened (the best kind of unexpected happiness), but I’m keeping that little secret close for now. Just know – it was beautiful.
December brought family, traditions, a lot of travel, and more joy than I could hold. Even if I didn’t post every day, I lived a month I’ll remember forever.

24 Days of Cozy: A Quick Little Recap
So, What Went Well
Even though I didn’t hit 24 posts, getting 13 cozy posts out into the world felt like a victory all on its own – and honestly, I loved what I shared. Some of my favorites were:
- 5 Ways to Romanticize Winter Even When It’s Gray
- My Cozy Holiday Gift Guide for Homebodies
- 10 Ways to Bring a Little Magic to Your December
And the best part? I finally cracked something I’ve been struggling with forever – blog batching and scheduling. Being ahead felt amazing… like “future me” sent me a Holiday gift. I also rediscovered how therapeutic writing is for me. LoFi music, an americano in hand, two hours in a coffee shop – ✨magic✨. And I realized how much fun I have curating wish lists and Canva graphics. Give me a theme and I’ll hunt for treasures all day.
What Didn’t Go Perfectly
If we’re being real, I didn’t set myself up very well from the start. My routine has been all over the place – the last six months have been wild (wilder than when I quit my job to travel!), and life just didn’t leave room for a daily blogging marathon. And that’s okay. I’m trusting things will balance out soon… or get even wilder. 😂 Either way, I’m glad you’re here with me.
What’s Next?
I’m so excited for what’s coming. In the new year, I want to:
- Create a more realistic, sustainable posting rhythm
- Dive deeper into past travel stories
- Update old posts (packing tips, toiletry bags, recipes, hobbies, etc.)
- Write more about homemaking, money, cozy living, and seasonal joys
- And maybe (just maybe) step more boldly into blogging as an income stream
In full transparency, I lost my job at the end of September. I’m okay – truly. It’s a tough market, but it also reminded me how much I love being here, writing for you. This challenge made me rethink what wakes me up creatively, and I’m excited to build something special moving forward.
Before You Go…
Your comments and newsletter sign-ups meant everything to me this month. Every time I saw one of your names pop up, it pushed me to keep writing. Even on chaotic December days between wrapping presents and running to the airport.
