3 Easy Thanksgiving Desserts You Can Make in a Flash

Thanksgiving week is here, and let’s be honest… sometimes there’s just not enough time to spend hours in the kitchen. Between travel, family, and all the prep for the big day, the last thing anyone needs is a complicated dessert that takes all day to make.

That’s why I’ve rounded up three of my favorite no-fuss desserts that are not only quick and easy but look like you spent hours making them. Bonus: I’ve also sprinkled in a few of my favorite kitchen items and cozy baking extras (affiliate links included – thank you in advance if you click!) to make your life a little simpler.

These desserts are perfect for last-minute bakers or anyone who just wants to keep things simple, cozy, and magical.

Dessert #1: No-Bake Cheesecake

My mom literally cut this recipe out of the top of a Cool Whip container back in the ’90s, and to say it’s a family staple is an understatement. You can make this entire cheesecake in just 15 minutes – then simply chill in the fridge to set.

I couldn’t find the exact original recipe online (it’s probably copyrighted!), but this is the closest recipe I could find. This cheesecake is super creamy, light, and fluffy. Essentially foolproof and a huge hit with kids.

Why it’s no-fuss:

  • No oven needed! Perfect if your oven is packed with turkey and sides
  • Can be made a day ahead
  • Easy to doll up and look more homemade with a vintage pie dish (I love this goose one and this pumpkin dish with lid!) or springform pan
  • Customizable: top with chocolate, Oreos, caramel, or berries for a little holiday touch

Dessert #2: Apple Pie with Sugar-Topped Crumble

Nothing says Thanksgiving like my mom’s warm apple pie with cinnamon sugar crumble on top. This classic American pie is cozy, comforting, and shockingly easy to make – no lattice topping required.

My mom always uses Granny Smith apples – they’re tart and not painfully sweet. This recipe is very close but still uniquely delicious. Serve with Tillamook Vanilla Bean ice cream for the pièce de résistance.

Why it’s no-fuss:

  • Use store-bought pie crust or pre-sliced apples to save time
  • Crumble topping is quick to mix and bake
  • Easy to serve individually in vintage ramekins or in a handmade pie dish (I love this artist’s work)
  • Bakes while you finish prepping the rest of your feast, or bake the night before!

Dessert #3: Pumpkin Pie Cups in Fancy Glasses

For something festive and a little extra, try pumpkin pie cups served in fancy glasses. Perfect for both adults and kids, they look super elegant in the right glasses (check out these, and these, and these too!) but are insanely simple to make. This recipe from Gimme Some Sugar takes just 10 minutes to prep and layers beautifully with whipped cream.

Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon, drizzle caramel or chocolate, and add cute little spoons to set the autumn mood.

Why it’s no-fuss:

  • Portion control – no slicing, no mess
  • Can be made ahead and chilled until ready to serve
  • Looks fancy for adult guests while still kid-friendly (or use personalized plastic cups!)

No matter how busy Thanksgiving gets, these three desserts will deliver deliciousness without stress. I love that they’re easy enough to throw together last-minute!
