Hello, my fellow Tripsiders, greetings from Cambridge, UK! I’m currently beginning an exciting journey, kicking off in the vibrant streets of London with a dear friend to celebrate her birthday in style. With a total travel time spanning approximately 5 weeks, I’m eagerly anticipating the opportunity to hunt down new spring essentials during this adventure. While some items have already found their way into my suitcase, others await to be found along the way.

My Favorite Spring Travel Products

This year, I’m leaning towards loose, flowy, and feminine clothing. While I’ve always been drawn to florals, I’m eager to incorporate more light colors into my wardrobe (except for the trusty black pants – they’re just too practical for travel). My focus is on finding easy-to-throw-on tops that pair well with high-waisted pants or skirts, along with a few cropped tees to layer over short-sleeved dresses.

For me, cozy oversized crew neck sweaters are the ultimate souvenir from this trip. I passed up on a Cambridge University one in the hopes of stumbling upon another gem that I’ll adore and wear endlessly. The key is to shop with intention, especially since I’m limited to just a carry-on and backpack.

Gold jewelry remains my go-to, and I’ve been on the lookout for a new gold chain and locket. While I’ve moved on from heart-shaped lockets, I’m drawn to one with delicate lavender embossing. Additionally, I’ve had my eye on a pair of gold earrings that I won’t fret over losing.

Rounding out my packing list are some essential items: a packable pink cropped rain jacket, an RFID wristlet wallet, my airtags attached to a key chain (on my luggage and wallet), my trusty Madewell leather tote bag, a universal charger with USB & USB-C ports, and, last but not least, a stylish yet comfortable pair of Dr. Scholl sneakers.
