Airport Beauty: What’s in my TSA Approved Toiletry Bag
Hello, Tripsters! I stumbled upon a game-changer on Amazon – a toiletry bag that not only caught my eye but also met every TSA guideline known to man. The dimensions and bottles are TSA-approved, leaving me with the delightful task of adding my own products to the containers. And let me tell you, it was a game-changer.

Airport Beauty: What’s in my TSA Approved Toiletry Bag
If you’re new to international travel or need a refresher, TSA guidelines ask that you stick to the 3-1-1 rule. Which is essentially 1 quart-sized clear bag with 3.4 oz of liquid items inside of it.
The best part of this heavy-duty plastic clear bag is I was able to shove a few extra items – Eye drops, a favorite perfume travel spray, Afrin, face moisturizer, toothpaste, eyeglass cleaner, tweezers, another small perfume sample, and a 3oz container of detergent for those dreaded laundry days for extended travel. Since the bag is transparent, you don’t need to take it out of your backpack.
Seamless Security Checks
This bag came with me on my 4-week Adventure in October and my 3-week Christmas Market experience. This sucker flew with me from Dublin to Edinburgh, London to Lisbon, and Vienna to Amsterdam. It sailed through security checks without a hiccup. No unpacking, no delays – just smooth transitions, leaving me with more time to explore and less time worrying about my toiletries.
Pro-tip: If you’re checking your bag, this is really easy to add. If you’re traveling with a carry-on (like me), put your toiletry bag in your backpack. This way if there are any issues, you don’t have to open your suitcase.
A 10/10 Recommendation:
If I could rate this toiletry bag, it would undeniably earn a perfect 10. It’s not just a bag; it’s a travel essential that turns security checks into nod-worthy experience. If you’re a fellow traveler seeking a stress-free journey, this recommendation comes straight from the heart.
In case you’re worried about cleanup, I accidentally got some face wash inside the bag – it wiped away with a napkin. It was easy. I’m so thrilled with this bag that I’ve just written an entire blog post about it… need I say more?
Contents of the Travel Containers
Now, let’s dive into the good stuff – what went into those travel-sized containers? Here are my favorite products that went into them:
Lifesaver for dry hair
Best lotion – can’t travel without it
Best body scrub after a long day of walking in humidity
Best for dry skin
Favorite travel scent
A need for flights
Cannot travel without it
Final thoughts – my products didn’t last the entire 4 weeks I was abroad. I was lucky to stay in some hotels along the way, so I was able to add shampoo and conditioner. After a while those both became their own special blends. Haha! Other than that, everything else lasted a long time (other than the body scrub).
In short, I’m still thrilled with this purchase and, especially, the case. It packed so well.
Happy traveling, my friends!
