Hello, my friends! This week has been kind of bonkers with a mini family vacation, travel, remote working, and getting reacquainted with being at home. Last night I was thinking about all the things I needed to do and it was stressing me out. So, I was thinking of ways to destress and it turned into a list! A list of 29 Simple Ways to Better Yourself Daily.

Per the norm, I’m sharing another list with you guys. Cause, who doesn’t love a list?!


29 Simple Ways to Better Yourself Daily

I hope it helps bring you peace, love, and happiness in your everyday life. As a reminder, you are wonderful and lovely just as you are. Remember to say kind things to yourself. Don’t judge too harshly and let the ugliness of past relationships, expectations, and frustrations go. You’ll be thankful for your clear mind later.

If all else fails, try writing your thoughts in a journal and keep it by your bed when you can’t sleep.

  1. Make your bed every single morning.
  2. Brush your teeth.
  3. Get outside and go for a walk, even if it’s raining.
  4. Read at least one chapter, from any book, before bed.
  5. Let go of the past/angry energy.
  6. Do Wordle or a crossword with your morning cuppa.
  7. Be kind to yourself.
  8. Take your vitamins & probiotics.
  9. Dance every day.
  10. Get enough sleep to wake up naturally and refreshed.
  11. Keep good quality uplifting and positive people in your life.
  12. Allow yourself to cry when you feel sad.
  13. Put on lotion before you go to bed or right after a shower.
  14. Double your fruits and veggie intake.
  15. Make a checklist for your day and check them off when accomplished.
  16. Sing as loud as you can in the car.
  17. Moisturize every single night.
  18. Surround yourself with people who cheer you on & support your goals.
  19. Be honest with yourself and other people.
  20. Build a plan to organize your life.
  21. Shop locally to better support your community and lifestyle.
  22. Write what you’re thankful for every day.
  23. Believe and listen to yourself.
  24. Identify what you think success is and ignore everyone else.
  25. Have alone time with meditation, exercising and/or yoga, coloring, etc.
  26. Volunteer your time with friends, family, or your community.
  27. Get out into nature.
  28. Keep your space clean and welcoming.
  29. Be your own best friend.
