My Favorite Fall Boutique Sweater
Hello darlings! Let’s swing right into the obvious, shall we? My favorite fall boutique sweater is my latest obsession and I can’t get enough of it!
You guys know how I’ve been on a budget (I mention this in every post) and I’ve done such a great job sticking to it that I actually treated myself to a few things over the past two weeks. Two new sweaters (yes my favorite fall boutique sweater is one of them) and some new makeup from NARS. I’ll chat about that in a future post but I’d like to chat about this sweater today.
Since going on this crazy budget, I’ve don’t a lot of research on sustainability. The more I read, the more interested I become in the topic. I think sustainability is very important for the health of our planet’s future. Which is why I frequent thrift shops and plan to chat more about my thrifting adventures and how I find quality clothing in my community.
However, for this post, I want to write about the concept of supporting locally owned businesses in your own neighborhood. My favorite boutique, in all of Seattle, is Meadow off of 6th Ave W in Queen Anne. It’s been around since 2009 and the owner is always stocked with the most beautiful pieces for the every girl in mind. Over the past few years, if I need a gift I go to Meadow. If I’m looking for a new sweater to wear for years to come: Meadow. If I have a party I’m going to go to: Meadow. No one in the city carries anything like they do and their such great individualize pieces.
Why am I on the soap box love?
This sweater = Meadow!
This truly is my favorite Fall boutique sweater. I went two sizes up because I tend to like sweaters to be over sized. I love snuggling up in them and when the sleeves fall over my hands. Ugh, there’s nothing better than sleeves falling over hands! Especially on a nice cozy Autumn night curled up watching Netflix and eating popcorn.
On my past trip to Meadow, I found two sweaters! They are super well made, affordable (like, in my budget – affordable) and warm. Best of all the boutique owner is often around so you get the chance to chat about upcoming neighborhood events. I adore shopping locally for this reason. Building relationships and, best of all, you know your money is going right back into your community.
