Vintage Animal Print Romper
Hello darlings! Can we have a moment to appreciate a quality thrift find? I found is beautiful vintage 100% silk animal print romper for less than $20 at my local thrift store about 4 years ago and I’m still wearing it. In fact, I styled this romper, last Fall, for the Alexander McQueen event.
My love for thrifting is forever after this find, you guys! Really though. I’m just in love. I bought it before animal print was even making a comeback. Did I revamp this trend? … maybe? Haha! No – but I’m happy I got it. It’s a classic piece and I genuinely believe it’s just going to keep back coming around.
This romper, straight up, looks just like a dress. In fact, most people think it’s a dress until they see the back of it. It’s quite lovely, actually, and the perfect playsuit to transition into Fall. Just add a cardigan and boots for a crisp day of apple picking.
I am on an apple picking kick right now. It’s one of my favorite things to do in Fall and all I can think of is the apple pie, apple butter and apple turnovers there are to make! Do you have a fave apple recipe this time of year? I can’t believe I’m about to say this but, I’m kind of excited for Fall this year. Shhhh don’t tell anyone. Our little secret! Okay?
Short and sweet today, friends. Catch you On the Trip Side later in the week!
