Hello, dear friends! I’ve got quite a week lined up for you. A lot of you know that my sister has been my primary photographer for most of Fall and Winter. I have a very spontaneous mind (gemini tendencies) and tend to call her last minute when I have a creative moment with my wardrobe. Well, my darling sister was in Australia this week for work. Though I’m happy for her, obviously, I had to figure out other arrangements for my OOTD pics!
I love my weekends, that’s a given. They’re stacked full of events, family affairs and brunch. This weekend I only had two commitments! I know, so shocking. So, I allowed myself to sleep in, run some errands and finally go out and scout for photo shoot locations in this outfit… which I absolutely am in love with…
If you’re keeping up with my
instagram, you guys know I was at the
Taste of Washington on Saturday evening. Meaning, I was not only on my feet all day but I was in my favorite business flats all day. These Tory Burch which have been able to stand the test of time! I bought these Minnie’s back in August of 2017 (see the post here) and I still love them. They are well taken care of and go well with my neutral outfits.
My dress is going to shock you. Its from Zara and it was less than $20. I picked it up right after Christmas at the Bellevue Square Mall. My jacket is thrifted, bag is leather and purchased last year and my scarf is made from the softest and silkiest polyester ever. I received it in my
Causebox (which I loveeee) and have been debating purchasing the other two colors from Posh Mark ever since I got it. The colors go with my whole wardrobe!
This is a super easy, sophisticated, work-wear outfit that I will be utilizing a lot this Spring and right on into Summer.
