Styled Seattle x Gossip Glamour Holiday Party 2018

Styled Seattle x Gossip Glamour Holiday Party

Okay guy, seriously – what a fun event! If you’ve been eyeing my instagram, you already know I attended the Styled Seattle x Gossip Glamour Holiday Party this past Tuesday night. Gossip & Glamours‘s Sydney Mintel was kind enough to add me to the guest list along with Seattle’s fiercest stylists. She thought of everything. From the cookies and champagne to Saint Nick himself. Bravo to you, Sydney!

This event was exceptionally wonderful. I got to put a lot of faces from social media to faces in real life! It was refreshing and, honestly, we’re all a lot shorter than I realized! Haha!CookiesOh Deer Sign

As many of you know, I have a full time job and a part time non-profit position. Both take up a considerable amount of my life. This social was super beneficial to me. It was a wonderful opportunity to see other bloggers and influencers (big and small) IRL. It was a terrific conversation starter and definitely a great way to break the ice if you are thinking about starting a blog in the near future. I highly recommend any of Sydney’s events, you’re wanting to meet other people.

My dear friend (who loved the booths, champagne and nail polish Jane and the Shoe was giving out) was kind enough to be my plus one to the event. My friend and I couldn’t stop smiling as we made our way through the crowded event space. So many beautiful pieces to purchase. They had amazing vendors which included K Ba-Nana gift sets, Moonlit Skincare, hats By Vlada, Beet World and Bella Fiore Organic Med Spa. We really enjoyed checking out what everyone else was wearing for the event too!

My personal favorite, and none of you can be surprised, is velvet. Listen, I have been waiting for velvet to come back into style since 1998. Girl, I love how soft and regal you look and feel in a velvet ensemble.

I got my dress at Zara while I was in Madrid a few summers ago. I swear by that store. It’s by far one of the prettiest stores I’ve ever had the privilege of walking into. It’s three stories and now that I’m typing this… I know I’ve written about this store before. YEP! Here is an image of the store. Check out my Jacquard Skirt & Earl Grey post for another item I bought there.

In short, I love this dress. I only wear it in the winter because it’s insanely warm!
