Pink Sweaters & Planner Kits
Well, I can’t sleep so I’m up super late (or is it early?) working on this post because my mind won’t shut down. So instead, I read three articles telling me to get out of bed and do something relaxing that will eventually tire yourself out. Apparently the worst thing you can do is lay in bed with your brain churning. Who knew.
To fair, this ties in nicely with this post. As many of you know, I’ve been pretty invested in my Erin Condren planner. There are some people who love their electronic calendars and agendas but I learned pretty early on that:
1) I’m not one of those people
2) I hate getting alerts on my phone
3) If I don’t write it down, I’m gonna forget about it. Even with an alert.
If you’re anything like me and love paper planners, here’s how I accessorize my planner with the Planner Society’s Box Sticker Kit every month to keep it fun and colorful…
I’d like to start this post by saying: this is not a sponsorship. I am an Erin Condren junky through and through. All thoughts are my own and is the truth but if you click on a link and purchase something, I am apart of their affiliates program. Now, I bought my first planner last year and, honestly, I never looked back. I tried other planners but nothing beats the beautiful designs and the thick paper Erin Condren uses. I quickly realized that I wasn’t the only person who loved paper planners. There’s a whole blogging network, not to mention youtube network, dedicated to planning in your planner.
Christy Tomlinson is one of those people. She is the talent and #girlboss behind The Planner Society. She’s taken her love for planning and art and turned it into her own business. Genius. I wait every month for my sticker kit and the minute I get it, I sit down at my desk to carefully plan out my month. This post is about the: Planner Society Box Sticker Kit.
Christy creates 4 beautiful sheets of stickers for this kit and it’s never hard to get into a planning mood once you see these kits. They’re always colorful and themed to the month we’re going into. My favorite page is continuously the 8 box sheet that features her personal drawings that go with her monthly theme. November is for Thanksgiving but she’s drawn for us the most adorable cat in a dress and a few boxes with sweaters, booties, scarves and pumpkins. The floral and plaid are carried through out the theme, along with rose gold details. The other three sticker sheets are full of checklists on little clipboards, days of the week stickers, stripes of washi tape and to-do lists. My favorites! Perfect for my weekly routines.
Lastly, I almost always plan in my “easy morning” clothes. Meaning something I can quickly pop out to the cafe in or meet a friend last minute. It often involves a cardigan to keep me warm while working in front of my window (this one is from TopShop). It is super heavy. Think anxiety blanket worthy, which I sometimes use it for.
So that’s how I’ve been using my Planner Society sticker kit! I do another post showing my actual set up. Is that something you’d be interested in reading about? Thanks for always stopping by!
