Happy 4th of July & a Repeat Romper
Happy 4th of July! This is the second year that I’ve worn a romper for our beloved nation’s Independence day. Last year I wore my beautiful Loft black and white number. Oddly enough a few days later my post was featuring this pink romper. This is officially a repeat romper post but styled a little differently. I love going back and looking at old posts. I’ve come far.
I had the privilege of hanging out with a dear friend and her family for the holiday. We made our way over to Edmonds for the most darling little small-town-home 4th of July Parade. It reminded me of being in my hometown, in Oregon, and made me just a little home sick. As a city girl, it’s easy to forget to slow down and this was a kind reminder.
After meeting her family, enjoying the parade, and snacking on Edmonds’ own salt water taffy, we made our way over to their backyard barbecue. I ate my weight in her grandmother’s tuna noodles, potato salad, hot dogs and cold dill pickles. You really can’t celebrate the 4th without a quality backyard gathering!
As you might tell, from my photos, my place is going through some redecorating! It’s super exciting to have a carved out space to work on my blog and have a place to plan in my planner on the weekends. There will be a post in the future! Promise, friends.
