Red Lips and Gold Snakes

One of my favorite outfits is being brought to you by a trip to Nordstrom and the thrift store. This top is my go-to whenever I feel bloated or uncomfortable. It hides everything and is insanely roomy and makes me happy. That’s it. End of post.

Seriously though, it’s the greatest and almost the same colors as my eyes. It’s paired with my go to Banana jeans, a Kut from the Kloth faux leather blazer (that I got at the thrift store. Score!), my fave nude pumps and child-approved gold snake necklace. It’s not child safe but one of my friend’s kids is obsessed with it and called me “cool” because he liked the ruby eyes.

As for make-up, which I am going to try and talk more about, I am wearing eyeshadows from my Tarte palette. I’m also wearing Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Matte lip in Kathryn. I darker shade for Spring but I think it balanced the look because of my light shoes.
Blazer: Kut from the Kloth (thrift find, almost identical, similar, cheaper) // Top: Pleione (old, similar) // Jeans: Banana Republic // Pumps: Nine West (in blue!) // Necklace: Forever21 (old, similar) // Lip: Anastasia Beverly Hills, Kathryn // Eyeshadow: Tarte Palette, Matte Palette
It’s no surprise that these pump are going to be the next topic for this post. They’ve been posted many times before. My closet houses two pairs and I’m on the verge of buying a third because they give me height and make me stand up straight. They are by Nine West and are surprisingly pleasant for pumps. My testing has ranged from an 8 hour day to walking a quarter mile. They do the job and have held up nicely. There has yet to be an affordable pump that has topped these suckers.
Im in search for another pair of pumps. Let me know if you have suggestions!
