First Outfit, New Apartment!

First “Outfit of the Day” in my new apartment! It’s been a busy-busy time getting my place set up and prepared. My first weekend with all of my stuff moved in, I went to the beach. I don’t know how I wasn’t more stressed out. The mess and clutter was driving me insane. I watched ‘Minimalism’, a documentary on Netflix, and two shows on hoarding.

After throwing away more of my life, life I didn’t want and wanted to move passed, I was seeing the light in this moment. I decided to refigure all of my ikea furniture. I will have a few posts on this because I haven’t started two of them. One is fully complete! Slowly but surely, this turtle will finish the race.

The clutter could drive anyone mad, while moving. After work, everyday, there was some project that needed to be worked on. Moving some pieces into storage for my sister, painting, salvation army runs, trips to the hardware store or Lowe’s. Endless.

My outfit was pretty simple. It was the first nice day in Seattle where the weather wasn’t working against us. Everyone was in spring/summer wear. My skirt is an easy throw on. It goes well wth black, white, the basic colors. Strangely enough, it also pairs well with other patterns. I’ll make a point to get an OOTD to show that. Though the skirt is old, it never fails to get compliments. It stands the test of time for fashion. Plus, the best part – comfort. I can eat anything I want in this skirt. Who can complain about that?

Top: Target – Black v-neck //Skirt: The Loft (old) // Flats: Tahari //

Shoes are my all time favorite flats. I wish I had bought another pair of them but, alas, didn’t know it would be love. I’m currently on the hunt for a few new pairs for this summer. If anyone has recommendations, please reach out!

Lipstick (promised I would let you know!) is, yet again, Anastasia Beverly Hills in Katheryn. Majority of my outfits are complimented by my everyday perfume: Florence, by Tocca.

Truly can’t believe it’s been a whole month in my place already! It’s really coming along. It’ll be fun to show you before and afters!
