Boyfriend Jeans and Comfort

Hello Non-Judgemental Friends!

As you can see – still fixing up the place and it’s now in the final stages. Almost everything has a place and 2/5 of my crafts have been completed. My apartment officially has a lovely functional kitchen, a semi-decorate bathroom and all of my necklaces has been organized. It’s been wonderfully relaxing and de-stressing coming home and having if feel like an actual home.

The plants are bright and green in the window sills and my table. My art has been places where it will eventually get hung. Jackets and work bags on the sofa til the hall closet has enough hangers and organization, bills on the table. It’s been such a comfort pulling my life together, seeing it all in one place and making it 100% my own. In all honesty, this is the happiest my life has been in 2 full long years. More of that later. That’ll be a whole other post. Promise.

To no one surprise here, I’m wearing my favorite black pumps again. Every time my OOTD posts have these pumps, all my mind goes to is that article of the press harassing Chelsea Clinton of her well worn comfortable pumps. This is my case as well. To add to that, they go with everything. Everything.

Now, what should come as a surprise are the boyfriend jeans. Never in my life would’ve imagined myself in a pair of boyfriend jeans. There were a lot of reservations: they’ll make me look chubby, they won’t be flattering, woman like Katie Holmes and Rachel Bilson can pull those off – not you. Well, all things considered, my thoughts were falsified the moment they jeans slipped on.

Let’s start with the number one selling point – comfort. Holy guac and chips! These jeans are my dream pants. These jeans sell themselves. Not only are they easy to throw on, easy to walk in, talk in, my stylish in and feel fantastic but they were also on sale. Of course, these Caslon’s are sold out now but the brand is my personal recommendation for boyfriend jeans.

They also carry plus size, which make it even easier to support them.

My top is from Marshall’s! Black tops forever, my lovelies. Honestly, black tops can go with anything. My closet has 8 of them and it still doesn’t seem like enough.
