WIW: Geometric Dress & Kut from the Kloth Blazer
What is very satisfying about this dress is that it’s cotton, light and like nothing else in my closet. Which I love because it’s an edgy/flirty where many of my pieces are pretty/flirty. I am going to enjoy wearing this as we transition into Spring. The one thing I don’t like is that I think this dress will fade with time so I will never put it in the dryer. It will always need to be air dried.
My booties are what got me through Fall and Winter of last year. I bought them in London, in Notting Hill, last March when I went to pick up my sister in Europe. She studied abroad in Rome. I went to Paris to visit my second cousins then flew out to Rome to pick her up. These booties bring back every memory we shared so they are by far my favorite shoe. I almost feel bad even thinking of boxing them up or Spring and Summer. Alas, I need a break from the constant drizzle and downpours. I can’t wait for 65* and lightly cloudy.
I plan to go through all of my Spring items next weekend and to a full swap out of clothes. I can’t wait, actually. I have so much planned before I move and a lot of clothes to sell on ebay before the move.
I hope everyone had a beautiful Easter Sunday this past weekend. I know I did. I got to spend the whole day with my parents and sisters. My brother couldn’t join but I love how close we all are as adults. We always miss each others on these types of holidays and remanence about all of the odd gifts we would get from the Easter Bunny. Who knew the Easter Bunny love Mariah Carey’s Butterfly album as much as me??
