It Only Snows in February
I have this theory that the minute Seattle gets ready and set for spring, it snows. In fact, I find that we’re more likely to get snow in February than any other month out of the year. In 2016, we got snow in November. Out of no where. Now we’re in 2017 and, of course, I’m fully prepped for all of the new Spring lines and I’m back to my blanket scarf, Target duck boots and full sweaters.
So far, my best purchase for all of 2016 have been my Target duck boots. These beauties were something I took a risk buying because I was unsure on how to style them. Once I discovered how comfortable they were and easy to work with … well, I suppose the rest is history.
I do this a lot. A trial run in a less expensive shoe before going all out and buying a named brand that’s more heavy duty. I need to know I’ll get my money’s worth and these have most certainly hit the top of my bar. I’ve worn these to Taos in December, through out our snow week in November and for the past two days.
